Now I am explained step by step about battery in automobile.

In modern electrical system of automobile .There are four main circuit and a number of branch circuit.The main four circuit are following:

A.Generating Circuit.

B.Starting Circuit.

C.Ignition Circuit.

D.Lighting Circuit.

This all the connected with main circuit with battery.

Battery:

The battery is main part of the electrical system in an automobile.Automobile without the battery, the engine not to be started with the starting motor.In automobile vehicle battery can work significant role like it can supplies current for operations of the starting motor and ignition system.Battery can supply the current of electrical instruments like light ,Radio etc.

Type of battery are:

a.Lead Acid Battery.

  This type of battery is most widely used in automobile now days.

b.Alkaline battery.

This again classified in two types are:

(a)Nickel iron type

(b)Nickel cadmium type.

C.Zinc air battery.

Now in mind questions how to calculate capacity of battery?

Battery capacity means the amount of current it can deliver.The amount of current depends upon the following factor:

(1)Temperature

(2)plates ( number of plates).

(3)Area of plates

(4)Quantity of the electrolyte..

This also can depends capacity of battery.

Advantages of Battery electric vehicles:
1. Rapid acceleration
 2. Noise free operation.
 3. No exhaust fumes.
 4. High reliability, easy maintenance
. 5. No loss of power during idling, easy to drive
6. Regenerative Braking i.e. when you take your foot off the accelerator or applies the brake, the motor becomes a generator, sucking the energy of motion back into the battery.

 Disadvantages of Battery electric vehicles:
  1. Limited speed range up to only 60-100km or 100-150km.
 2. After every 100-150km running battery needs recharging, there is  waste of time.
3. The top speed is quite low (about 60km/hr) A Life of the batteries is quite short, which means very high replacement costs .
